Privacy Policy
Effective from 6. July 2026 Last updated 11. September 2026
The app works without an account. The only things that leave your device are the ones a feature could not work without — this page says what they are, who processes them and how long they are kept.
What data does LEASE Tracker collect?
LEASE Tracker respects your privacy.
The app does not require account registration; your vehicle, mileage and planned-trip records are stored locally on your device.
To improve the app, manage subscriptions, and serve ads we use the third-party services described below (Firebase Analytics, RevenueCat, Google AdMob).
What stays only on your device?
All trip records, plans, settings and history are stored in the app's local database.
All calculations (daily/monthly averages, mileage projections) are performed locally on your device.
This local data is backed up only to your own personal cloud storage (see below) and is never sent to our servers.
Vehicle photos. If you attach a photo to a vehicle, the app stores only the file path on your device. Photos are never uploaded — the app contains no file-upload code at all. Camera and photo-library access is used for this purpose only.
Data backup (iCloud / Android device backup)
To prevent data loss when you replace or restore your device, the app backs up a single export file of your data (vehicles, mileage, plans) to your own personal cloud storage.
On iOS/iPadOS, this export is stored in your private iCloud account via CloudKit. This data is accessible only to you under your Apple ID — the developer has no access to it.
On Android, the same file is included in the standard Google account backup (Auto Backup) or device-to-device transfer; no other app data is backed up.
You can manage or delete this backup at any time in your device settings (see “How can I delete data?” below).
App usage analytics (Firebase Analytics)
To understand how users use the app and to improve its features, we use Google Firebase Analytics.
We only record predefined, anonymized feature-usage events (e.g. setup completed, odometer logged, planned trip created, alert shown/tapped, paywall viewed, subscription/ad-removal purchased, history viewed, widget configured) together with technical parameters (e.g. source, method, result).
We never send personal or vehicle-identifying data in these events — such as odometer readings, license plate, VIN, vehicle name, notes, or specific trip data.
Firebase Analytics may process standard technical and diagnostic device identifiers per Google's policies. See: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Subscription and purchase management (RevenueCat)
Purchases and subscriptions (LEASE Tracker Pro, ad removal) are managed through RevenueCat.
RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and purchase/subscription data from the App Store or Google Play (e.g. product identifier, purchase and expiration dates, subscription status) to validate and manage your entitlement to Pro features.
RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or payment details — those are handled exclusively by Apple/Google as part of the store purchase.
More information: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
Ads and use of advertising services (AdMob)
For users who have not purchased a subscription, the app may display ads (banner and interstitial).
Ads are provided via Google AdMob.
On iOS, the app first requests permission for tracking-based ad personalization through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. If you decline, IDFA is not shared and only contextual (non-personalized) ads are shown.
Google AdMob may collect technical device identifiers (e.g. IDFA on iOS with consent, AAID on Android), IP address and other device signals for the purpose of ad delivery and personalization.
These data are processed directly by Google according to its policies. See: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads and https://policies.google.com/privacy
To prevent ads, you can purchase a subscription or a one-time ad-removal purchase, or limit ad tracking in your device settings.
Purpose and legal basis of processing
Purpose: providing and improving the app's features (Firebase Analytics), managing subscriptions and purchases (RevenueCat), and serving or personalizing ads for users without a subscription (AdMob).
Legal basis: performance of a contract (delivering purchased features via RevenueCat), legitimate interest in improving the app (Firebase Analytics), and legitimate interest and/or user consent where required by the platform for ads (e.g. ATT consent on iOS for personalization).
How long is data retained?
Local data on your device and its backup in your iCloud/Google account are retained until you delete them or uninstall the app.
Data in Firebase Analytics is retained according to Google's default retention policies, after which it is automatically deleted or aggregated.
Data at RevenueCat is retained for the duration of your subscription/purchase and a reasonable period afterward for accounting and support purposes, per RevenueCat's policies.
Data collected by advertising services is controlled by the ad provider (Google) according to its policies.
How can I delete my data?
Local data and records: delete the relevant records directly in the app, or uninstall the app — this removes the local database.
iCloud backup (iOS): Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → LEASE Tracker → Delete Data.
Android backup: Settings → Google → Backup, where you can delete the app's backup, or Settings → Apps → LEASE Tracker → Storage → Clear Data.
Firebase Analytics: this data is anonymized and not tied to your identity; contact us at the email below with any question or deletion request.
RevenueCat / subscription: contact us at the email below to request deletion of data related to your purchase; your purchase history and status are also managed by Apple/Google in your store account.
Ads: to limit ad tracking, adjust your device settings (e.g. App Tracking Transparency on iOS / reset advertising ID on Android).

Sharing and processors
We do not sell your data.
To provide the features described above we use the following processors — Google Firebase (analytics), RevenueCat (purchase and subscription management), and Google AdMob (ads).
Apple/Google — providers of device backup (iCloud/CloudKit, Android backup) and app stores (App Store/Google Play), where payment processing and backup of your data take place under their own privacy policies.
Data transfers outside the EU
In some cases, data may be processed outside the EU (e.g. on Google Firebase, RevenueCat, or Google AdMob servers).
Such transfers are carried out in accordance with GDPR, especially using Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).
Your rights
You have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of data to the extent it concerns you.
You can withdraw your consent to tracking for ad personalization at any time in your device settings.
If you want to prevent ads, you can purchase a subscription or adjust privacy settings on your device.

If you have privacy questions or want to exercise your rights, please contact us.

Changes to this policy
We may occasionally update these policies.
The updated version will always be published on our website with the effective date.
What cookies does this website use?
This section concerns the website, not the app itself. The app continues to work without an account and your data stays on your device.
Essential cookies are required to run the site (for example to remember your consent choice and your light or dark theme). The site does not work without them and they cannot be disabled.
Analytics cookies are used only with your consent. They measure traffic via Google Analytics 4 so we know which pages are useful. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time in the cookie settings at the bottom of the page.
Until you give consent, no analytics cookie is set — we use Google Consent Mode v2 with a default state of "denied".
This site uses no marketing or advertising cookies at all, not even with your consent. We run no advertising and no remarketing, so there is nothing to ask permission for.
